General:
- All distance markers are measured meters.
- The distance from tee to green is measured from the competition tee box to front of the green.
- Unless playing for 18 holes, tees off will be from the Blue Tee Box (Front Nine) for Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and the White Tee Box (Back Nine) for the rest of the week.
Colour Code:
- Out of Bounds (OB) - WHITE stakes/black lines.
- Water Hazard - YELLOW stakes.
- Lateral Hazard - RED stakes.
- GUR/Free drop - WHITE stakes/lines
Out of Bounds (Rule 27):
- Out of bounds are marked by black lines and white stakes. If both are present the black line take precedent, the line itself is Out of Bounds.
- 1st hole - on and beyond the black lines on the left and right of fairway including beyond the green marked by the white lines.
- 2nd hole - (a) Over the camp fence on the right fairway; (b) The concrete base of the fence itself is Out of Bound; (c) Left and beyond the green as bordered by black lines/white stakes and cement drain respectively.
- 3rd hole - Left and right beyond the green market by the white stakes/lines.
- 4th hole - (a) Over the safely fence protecting the Medical Center and beyond the green; (b) Beyond the green marked by white lines/black stakes; (c) One the left fairway beyond the monsoon drain.
- 5th hole - (a) Right fairway marked by white stakes and black lines along the airstrip; (b) Left of the fairway marked by black lines/white stakes and beyond monsoon drain along the airstrip; (c) Beyond the green marked by white stakes and monsoon drain.
- 6th hole - On and over the black lines/white stakes on the right of the fairway.
- 7th hole - Beyond the fence bordering the Officers Mess and beyond the monsoon drain in front of the green.
- 8th hole - On the right fairway beyond the Officers Mess drain.
- 9th hole - On or beyond black stakes/lines right of fairway and beyond the green along side the road.
Free Lift:
- All areas marked with white lines for ground under repair (GUR), earth mounds and sand heaps and an hills.
- Balls lodge near pipes.
- Near young trees marked by white stakes.
- Grooves surrounding the greens. Replace not nearer to the pin.
Movable Obstructions (Rule 24-1):
Water Hazards and Lateral Water Hazards stakes, stones in bunkers, stake with ropes including immovable obstructions.
Movable Obstructions (Rule 24-2):
Any artificial, man-made construction that cannot be moved without undue effort, including water pipes, sign and post and distance marker.
Water Hazards (Rule 26):
- Water Hazards are identified by yellow stakes.
- Later Water Hazards are identified by red stakes.
